Anne is a watermedia artist originally from the
Midwest. Upon moving to Florida, she has had the
opportunity to explore the excitement of painting in
watercolor and acrylic. To further enhance her
art, she has participated in classes at the Dunedin
Fine Art Center, the Beach Art Center in Indian
Rocks and various workshops. She is a member of the
Florida Watercolor Society, Creative Artists Guild
in Dunedin, Tarpon Springs Arts Association, Dunedin
Fine Arts Center, and the Beach Art Center. in
Indian Rocks, FL.
Her initial paintings were realistic watercolors and
then she discovered the versatility of acrylic;
thus, some of her paintings are a combination of
both ("Vintage Fruit"). "I enjoy working in acrylics
because of the textured effects I can achieve."
She has won many juried awards for her original
work. Her painting "Vintage Fruit" was
accepted in the 34th Annual Florida Watercolor
Society's 2005 Exhibition held at the Leepa-Rattner
Museum of Art in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
She is a
member of Studio 1212 and her work may be viewed at
their gallery and at other venues in the Clearwater
area.
