Transplanted to Florida in 1979, Barbara's forte soon
became abstract. After dabbling in paints for
awhile, she started taking serious lessons from several
of the local artists, and was encouraged to continue her
experimentation in the "wonderful world" of abstract and
colors. She has a great gift of creating a
painting that makes the viewer think and use their
imagination.
Barbara owns a small business, but still manages to
take classes and workshops trying to explore as many
avenues of art as she can.
She belongs to the Crystal Beach Art Group in Crystal
Beach, FL, is a member and on the board of the Creative
Artists Guild, Dunedin, FL, and is a member and past
president of Studio 1212, Inc., Clearwater, FL. |
