A former resident of Beaver, Pa, I have been living in Florida for 10 years. My interest in art and photography have been with me for a long time. However, actually getting involved in these interests started about 15 years ago. I began taking watercolor classes with Betty Swager of Monaca, Pa. and fell in love with this medium. Its a wonderful spontaneous way to express yourself. I have studied with  Tony Couch, Herbie Rose, Paul George, Sue Connor, Peter Spataro and many others including Florida artists Dee Witt, Ann Welch and Roberta Hunter. To expand my artistic journey, I have started to use pastels and acrylics and paint plein aire. My subject matter is nature. My artistic endeavors are a calming, peaceful retreat. The rest of my time is spent being Nana to Ryan, Ava, and Carly and enjoying life in Florida with Sal and our friends.
